Pilates mat-work focuses on the core stability of the body with all exercises initiating and radiating from the abdominals, lower back, hips and buttocks. Pilates stretches and strengthens the body while improving balance and alignment. According to Joseph Pilates, “in 10 sessions you will feel better, and in 30 sessions, you will have a whole new body.”
